He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Australian National University, completing his General Surgical Fellowship in New Zealand, with post-fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, and St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne.
He is a Fellow of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and NZ and an International Fellow of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons

Craig holds a Masters degree in surgery and has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts.
His active research interests include robotics, AI and peritoneal cancer
Craig was at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne for over 10 years. He was instrumental in the development of both the program for advanced pelvic cancer, including performing robotic exenteration procedures, and Peritoneal Cancer program, performing cytoreduction, HIPEC and PIPAC for advanced peritoneal malignancy
